I began my artistic career as a graphic designer and illustrator. My paintings are super-realistic interpretations of the subjects i choose, whether it be flowers, engines or people. The attention to detail gives the paintings enormous depth, and i like to "hone in" on a subject. If its a portrait, the eyes will have the most attention spent on them, as that`s where the personality of the person shines through. I prefer to paint in acrylics, as i love the intensity of the colours, and the speed in which they dry.
I also paint onto motorcycle tanks and crash helmets, and have won several "1st"s at bike shows around the country. I paint the Hard Rock Cafe, London, Harley Davidson which is used for promotional events every year. Below you will find a photo of the Eric Clapton tank, which features a portrait of the man himself with one of his guitars. He very kindly signed it too!!
I regularly take commissions for portaits of people, pets, cars, bikes and houses, examples of which can be found on the following pages.
